Hillel Academy is the largest international school in Jamaica. We are a non-denominational, independent, co-educational and multicultural school, and a private not-for-profit institution. We are located in Kingston, Jamaica, in the foothills of the famous Blue Mountains range.

The Hillel Academy campus is comprised of a Preparatory School (age 3 -11) and a High School (age 11-19). We offer a rigorous academic programme from pre-Kindergarten through High School.  The Preparatory programme offers a safe and stimulating environment in which our children develop socially, emotionally, creatively, physically and academically. We offer the International Middle Years Curriculum  (IMYC), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and the most extensive International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Jamaica. Hillel Academy, in partnership with our parents and students, seeks to raise expectations, promoting each child’s strengths and talents with the goal of fulfilling our motto of producing lifelong learners - we are learning for living.

The school was founded by the Jewish community in 1969 and has been accredited by AdvanceEd and SACS-CASI since 1999. We are authorized by Cambridge International Examinations to offer the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), and we are an International Baccalaureate World School. This facilitates our international students who may transition to or from, other international schools worldwide. Hillel Academy meets the requirements governing private educational institutions under the terms of the Education Act in Jamaica.

Our student population stands at approximately 700 children from over 40 countries. We offer a safe and stimulating environment, in which our children develop socially, emotionally, creatively, physically and academically.

The School prides itself on having extensive sporting facilities, a vibrant visual and performing arts programme, and offers a wide variety of co-curricular activities appropriate for all ages.
